Commonly associated with prestige, excellence and success; the BMW New Zealand Polo Open is the premier polo event and the highlight of the NZ polo season. 2013 will mark the 36th year.

Everyone can enjoy three games over the day with a lunch break at 1.30pm when lunch is served, during which the Fashion in the Field Awards will be announced for the best-dressed man and woman. Prizes include win a super yacht with you and five friends & celebrities for the afternoon or how about a BMW for the weekend, Luxury accommodation and Magnum's of Verve are also up for grabs.

The popular polo pony vs. BMW race also takes place during the break before the pre-match parade of ponies and the introduction of players in the Final.

5.30pm Play concludes with a prize giving, before the after party commences on the Fashion Lawn with head line act Nice 'n' Urlich.

There is a selection of ways to enjoy the days programming:

Official COCKTAIL PARTY - (FRIDAY ONLY)
Friday evening will kick off at 7pm partying on under the stars in the mid-summer nights heat to music provided by top Auckland party DJ's Yama and Ben Calway. This event frequently attracts a mature audience, sophisticated fashion conscious crowd, and all the beautiful people.

The Hill - General Admission to The Hill - (Limited spaces left)
Pack a picnic or enjoy some of the great food stalls on offer. Take up your prime position on the Hill and have a fun day out!

The Hill - PICNIC AT THE POLO
Gain access to the general viewing area of the Polo Open. Enjoy a drink on arrival and an individual packed picnic box with a veritable feast from the best of Clevedon Village farmers market.

Fashion Lawn - ADMIT ONE - (Limited spaces left)
Your day includes front row viewing at the Westpac Fashion HQ. Cat walk shows including 6 top local and international designers. Nice and Urlich after party, drink on arrival. Two individually packed picnic boxes : entree includes delicious deli meats, mixed olives, white bean & roasted garlic dip & crostini.

Fashion Lawn - MALLETS & PONIES
The 'Mallets & Ponies' is an exclusive area of the Fashion Lawn which includes a pre-party, return travel, food and a selection of drinks. You also get access to the after party and you are able to enjoy the days events. Bus leaves the Mini Garage at 430 Broadway, NEWMARKET at 10am.

Car Boot - PARK
Enjoy all the action from this prime side-line position in your own private picketed lawn enclosure and soak up the entire atmosphere that this glamorous sporting event has to offer. This package includes 1 reserved car space, up to 20 guest passes, 2 dozen beers of Heineken and souvenir programs for your guests.

The Terrace - ADMIT ONE
Be a part of the Auckland Polo Club House with front row seats on the Terrace. The ticket includes a $200 goodie bag, cool beverage and a sumptuous luncheon.

VIP Corporate - MARQUEE - (SOLD OUT!)
Includes fully catered Marquee for 25 pax

Programme of the Day:
10:30am - Hospitality Marquees Open 
11:00am - The day's play commences with the playoff for 5th & 6th place. 
12.15pm - Match two commences; playoff for 3rd & 4th place. 
13.30pm - Lunch is served, Fashion Show 3 & 4, Fashion in the Fields, Car verse Pony race
14.30pm - Pre-match parade of Ponies and introduction to Players.
15:00pm - The BMW NZ Polo Open Final 
16:30pm - Hospitality Marquees Close 
16.45pm - Prize giving 
17:00pm - After Parties commence at Clubhouse & Fashion Lawn, Fashion Shows 5 & 6
