During the 2020 pandemic, New Zealand is one of the first countries in the world to open back up to live comedy. We think this historical moment needs to be documented, celebrated and most importantly, we want to share an inspiring message of hope.

“First Laugh” is a live comedy show featuring New Zealand’s top comedians, in support of Direct Relief, an organization in over 80 countries whose mission is to improve the lives of people affected by Covid-19, as well as other emergency situations.

The world needs a laugh. Let’s make the first one count. Laughter is the best medicine. Come and join us!
