Splore is a unique music and arts festival held in Tapapakanga Regional Park, a stunning beachside location 70 km southeast of Auckland city.

The Splore kaupapa is about bringing people together to celebrate the arts and culture in a community of like-minded individuals who share our values. Splore promotes aroha, kindness and respect for the environment.

Revelers of all ages will enjoy our eclectic lineup of music, dynamic visual arts and diverse performances, dedicated Kids Zone and Wellness Zone. Top that off with a range of workshops, forums, sustainability initiatives and New Zealand’s greatest dress up party - there’s something for everyone at Splore.

FESTIVAL TICKETS WITH FREE CAMPING INCLUDED:

Every Splore Festival Ticket grants you access to all Splore stages, workshops, interactive experiences and so much more. It also includes free tent camping in the Family or General Camping Areas. These are available on a first come, first served basis. If you’d like to bring a Camper Vehicle or any kind of whare on wheels or would prefer to pre-book an allocated tent site, Reserved Camping tickets are required in addition to your Festival Entry.

All ticket tiers offer the same festival access. The simple difference is the earlier you buy, the more you save!

THURSDAY CAMPING UPGRADE:

You can beat the rush and start your Splore camping experience a day early. The Thursday camping upgrade lets you into the Splore campground from 2pm on Thursday. Once set up you’ll be able to enjoy the Sea View Village where you will find a bar with DJ’s, food & craft vendors and Wendy’s Wellness Zone.

There is NO beach access until Friday morning, Thursday entry is not available to boaties.

PARKING PASS:

All vehicles coming to Splore must pre-purchase a Parking Pass for on-site car parking. Camping in vehicles is not allowed in the general car park, so if you intend to camp in your vehicle, you must purchase a Camper Vehicle upgrade instead.

The Splore Parking Pass is designed to minimise our impact on the environment. By limiting the number of vehicles on-site, we reduce our biggest source of greenhouse gas emissions while making the whole festival experience less congested. The Parking Pass rewards carpooling and ridesharing. Vehicles with 3 or more occupants will receive a $50 refund on their parking pass.

Before you book a Parking Pass, please consider if there’s another transport option available to you: you could ride the Splore Express Bus, or share a ride in someone else’s vehicle.

Splore Festival operates two entry gates designed to take you to the best entrance to suit your experience. Please visit Splore’s Gate Guide to find out which gate is for you, and to print out the right Gate Pass for your windscreen or dashboard.

All upgrades are sold separately to festival tickets. Splore capacity is limited and may sell out. All tickets will be available in limited quantities during each sale.
