No one can stop the school of rock!

Based on the famous Paramount film starring Jack Black, SCHOOL OF ROCK follows Dewey Finn, a failed wannabe rock star who decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. Completely disinterested in academic work, Dewey decides to create his own curriculum, turning his class into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band.

Harlequin Musical Theatre, the hub of community theatre in East Auckland brings you this entertaining musical featuring all the favourite songs from the movie and a sensational all singing, dancing AND instrument playing cast!

SCHOOL OF ROCK, with its sensational live kids rock band, is a loving testimony to the transforming power of music.

The roles of Dewey & Rosalie will be performed by Dan Chasemore and Charlotte Curry on the following dates: Wed 25 April 7:30pm, Sat 29 April 2pm, Wed 3 May 7:30pm, Sat 6 May 2pm

Harlequin Musical Theatre is the hub of musical theatre excellence in East Auckland. The small, intimate and friendly theatre is located behind the Howick Leisure Centre on Pakuranga Rd with plenty of off-street parking and easy access for those with mobility difficulties. Our seating is tiered giving everyone a great view of the stage. Doors and a licenced bar open 30 minutes before the start of each show. The bar is also open at half time and for a short time after the performance. Eftpos available.
